OPPORTUNITY
Men’s Field Lacrosse continues to open doors for Ontario athletes across Canada and the United States. Many Ontario athletes build their foundation in Box Lacrosse, developing skills that translate exceptionally well to the men’s field game, where Canadians are recruited by National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) programs at all levels.
In Ontario, a growing number of high schools now offer men’s field lacrosse as part of their athletic programming, including opportunities to compete at the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) championships. Student-athletes can also pursue the sport at the post-secondary level through Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association (CUFLA), while NCAA lacrosse programs provide additional collegiate pathways abroad.
Beyond university, players can compete professionally in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) and internationally with Team Canada, the Haudenosaunee Nationals, or other national teams.
