2026 Tournament Host Applications Now Open

The Ontario Lacrosse Association is pleased to announce that applications to host 2026 OLA Invitational Tournaments will be accepted from November 1 to November 30, 2025. All clubs interested in hosting next season’s events are encouraged to submit their materials early to ensure consideration.

Important Dates & Deadlines

  • Application window: November 1–30, 2025

  • Hosting fees due: November 30, 2025

  • Host notifications sent: On or before January 16, 2026

All payments must be received before the application deadline to be considered complete. Payment may be submitted by cheque, e-transfer to fiona@ontariolacrosse.com, or Peloton.

How Tournament Hosts Will Be Announced

To support clubs in launching successful events, the OLA will publish approved tournament hosts in a staggered format:

  • Week of February 2, 2026: A/B qualifier divisions

  • Following the SAGM: All remaining tournaments

This staggered approach allows clubs additional time to:

  • Open registration

  • Determine team numbers

  • Confirm venue requirements

  • Establish early revenue planning

  • Secure fair access to available tournament dates and spaces

Approved hosts may not advertise, publish, or accept team entries until the OLA releases the official tournament list. This ensures a fair and organized rollout across all divisions and clubs.

Any host club found to be promoting or accepting teams before the permitted release dates risks having their tournament reduced or removed from the approved list.
