Soft Lacrosse

INTRODUCING THE GAME AT THE EARLIEST STAGES

Soft Lacrosse is a non-contact introductory program designed for children ages 3–4. It focuses on creating a fun, safe environment where participants can develop basic movement and lacrosse skills through play-based activities.

As one of the earliest entry points into the sport, Soft Lacrosse helps clubs create positive first experiences for young participants and their families—building confidence, coordination, and a lasting connection to the game.

Ontario Lacrosse supports clubs offering Soft Lacrosse through subsidized fees association with registration and insurance, helping reduce the cost of delivering introductory programming and making it easier to welcome new families into the sport.
