Become a trainer

trainer Certification

Behind every great team is a committed trainer—someone who keeps athletes safe, supported, and ready to perform. OLA trainers are essential members of the bench, ensuring proper injury management, promoting safe sport practices, and helping create a positive environment for every player.

To maintain consistent safety standards across all OLA programs, trainers must meet the certification requirements approved by the Ontario Lacrosse Association’s Board of Directors. These requirements ensure every trainer has the knowledge and skills needed to respond confidently to on-field situations.

Becoming a certified trainer is a meaningful way to support your association, contribute to the health and well-being of athletes, and play an important role in strengthening our lacrosse community.
