Helmet

All helmets must be CSA approved for ice hockey or NOCSAE approved. The helmet must have a chin strap which must be properly secured on both sides and cannot be altered from the manufactured form.

2 Facemask

Cannot allow the head of the stick or ball to make contact with the face. The mask must be CSA approved for ice hockey or NOCSAE approved and must be approved for helmet model it is mounted on.

3 Shoulder Pads

One-piece pad made of flexible, high-density impact foam with poly-plastic shoulder caps, when properly fitted offers protection for upper body and shoulders.

4 Arm & Elbow Guards

Light weight hard plastic or high-density impact foam that offers protection for the whole arm, while allowing full range of motion at the arm at the elbow.

6 Lacrosse Gloves

High-density impact foam and leather or nylon offer protection and flexibility. New control systems allow full range of motion of the wrist. Thumb protectors offer the best possible flexibility and safety.

7 Lacrosse Stick

Plastic head with aluminum, carbon graphite or titanium enhanced alloy shafts of various shapes. Sticks cannot be strung to with-hold the ball from play. Only one stop allowed.

5 Rib & Back Pads

One-piece light-weight plastic and high-density impact foam pad worn under equipment for rib and back protection.

8 Lacrosse Shoes

Suitable indoor shoes. Durable synthetic leather upper that won’t mark floors. High-density EVA midsole provides cushioning on flat surfaces such as sport tile, concrete or other hard surfaces. Thin outsoles with adequate tread for the Box Game.

3 Goaltender Throat Guard

Mandatory. High-grade plastic construction attaches to goalie face shield, protects throat and neck.

4 Arm & Chest Protector

A mandatory one-piece upper body protector constructed from high-density/low-density closed cell foam and lightweight durable polyethylene plastic provides superior protection. Fully molded plastics with offset ridging used in key areas for maximum safety. Articulating arm pads and design used to keep protector in place and maximize flexibility. Full padding at clavicle protects shoulder joint area.

5 Goaltender Gloves

High-density impact foam and leather or nylon offer protection and flexibility. The wrist systems allow full range of motion at the wrist for maximum performance while providing protection to the forearm.

6 Goaltender Pants

Extensive frontal protection combined with inner thigh protection offers excellent leg coverage. Molded components maximize safety using lightweight breathable materials; all designed to keep pants from shifting.

7 Goaltender Leg Guards

Manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDR 510) providing superior protection and complete stabilization. Full wrap-around system for complete calf coverage. Knee and ankle drop moulded inserts provide maximum protection. Fully adjustable with reinforced straps for full extension.

8 Lacrosse Stick

Standard goalkeeper stick with wide plastic head and flat scoop of aluminum, graphite or titanium alloys.

9 Goaltender Shoes

Suitable indoor shoes.

Box Player
