FIELD DIAGRAM

The men’s field lacrosse surface is designed to support a fast, transitional outdoor game played across a full-sized rectangular field. Clear markings divide the field into offensive and defensive zones, helping structure how teams advance the ball, defend space, and create scoring opportunities.

Key features such as the goal crease, midfield line, and face-off area establish player positioning and guide how play restarts and transitions throughout the game. Sideline areas also define spaces for benches, substitutions, and officials to manage gameplay effectively.

This diagram illustrates the standardized layout used for men’s field lacrosse across Ontario, providing players, coaches, and officials with a clear overview of the field’s dimensions and organization.
