Athlete Pathway
Women’s Field Lacrosse in Ontario is introduced primarily through representative (rep) programming starting at U9, where athletes learn the fundamentals of stick-work, movement, teamwork, and game flow. Athletes continue through the Ontario Women’s Field Lacrosse League (OWFL) from U9 to U19, gaining exposure to team systems, outdoor tactics, and position-specific skills.
At U13 and above, standout athletes may be selected for provincial teams through Team Ontario. From there, athletes may also pursue opportunities to compete internationally with Team Canada, the Haudenosaunee Nationals, or other national teams.
